Inspired by this, the organizing committee specially arranged a cultural experience activity to visit "Dream of the Red Chamber · Drama Fantasy City" during this competition. Due to the time constraints, everyone only watched the afternoon show of "Having or Not Having". This theater is full of charm and stunning, summarizing the story of "Dream of the Red Chamber" in an hour and half in the form of a dialogue between Cao Xueqin and the Twelve Beauties of Jinling. The scene recreates the illusory world, the stage lighting design is excellent, the immersion is strong, the water platform and rain curtain, the lighting and visual effects are exquisite, and the performance is fantastic for the senses, an immersive experience, a shared emotional connection with the characters, triggering resonance, unforgettable and inspiring thoughts on the cultural and creative reform of competitive mahjong.
On the 9th, the competition officially began, and Ms. Hu Jiyan, former Secretary of the President of the World Mahjong Organization, came to the scene to ring the gong kicking off the competition, instantly igniting the warm atmosphere of the arena. During the tense and intense process of the competition, the various players displayed all their abilities and their extraordinary skills. After a tense game of seven innings over two days, Guo Peiying from the Dragon City Tianyi team won the top spot with 830 total game points and 24 total standard scores thanks to a steady play. Teammate Zhang Zhenhu was also strong, winning runner-up with a total game points of 806 and a total standard score of 23. Jiang Wenjing of the Jingzhou Mahjong Association Team, a Beijing national, finished third with 609 total match points and 23 total standard scores.
The Longcheng Tianyi team won the team championship, Xi'an team won runner-up, followed by the Lingyun team as the third place.
A referee's examination was held on the night of 9th, and 33 people signed up. After rigorous evaluation, a total of 27 leading players stood out and received a judgement certificate. Some of the referees who have consistently followed the Mahjong rules for a long time have been promoted to a higher level.
During the award ceremony, unique and culturally rich prizes were prepared for the winners. These prizes cleverly combined rich and diverse cultural elements, including exquisite stamps based on "Dream of the Red Chamber", whose delicate patterns and profound cultural connotations highlighted the unique charm of classical literary masterpieces; the elements of Chinese medicine Hua Tuo symbolized the vastness and profundity of traditional Chinese medicine; the theme of Zheng He's voyages to the West evoked people's memory of the great ancient maritime achievements and the valuable stamps of the four seasons and the flowers of plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum; there was also the ancient and mysterious artifact unearthed from the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, which carried a heavy historical heritage and cultural value; and the cultural and creative souvenirs composed of the dice of Emperor Tang Minghuang and the Chinese knot, which perfectly combined the elements of ancient palace entertainment and traditional auspicious symbols. In addition, Ms. Hu Jiyan also solemnly presented the precious trophy won by Mr. Huang, the chairman of Quekang Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd., at the 7th World Mahjong Championship in Canada. This trophy not only witnessed the honor of Quekang, but also hornored it's outstanding achievements in the mahjong equipment field.
